Sell to Us · Gold Jewelry · Laguna Hills
The most transparent gold sale in town happens at our own table.
Selling gold is one of the few transactions where the seller often cannot see the two numbers that matter: the true weight and the real price per gram. Kiosks weigh below the counter. Mail-in buyers weigh in another state. We built our gold buying to be the opposite of that, and it lives right here in Laguna Hills, on Moulton Parkway.
Bring the drawer to our warehouse by appointment, walk into Old 44 Vintage in San Juan Capistrano, or have us to your house. Either way the process is identical: every piece is karat tested and weighed where you can watch, the day's gold price sits on the table, the percentage is stated before the math starts, and signed or stone-set pieces get pulled aside and priced as jewelry rather than metal. Cash on the spot when we agree.
What we buy in our home city
Everyday gold
Chains, bracelets, rings, class rings, broken and orphaned pieces. Weighed in grams, priced against spot, with the arithmetic out loud.
High-karat and foreign gold
22k and 24k pieces, gold marked in fineness like 916 or 999, and jewelry from abroad. Paid at true karat, never blended down.
Coins and small bullion
Eagles, maple leafs, Krugerrands, and inherited coin folders. Checked and priced piece by piece.
Jewelry worth more than melt
Signed pieces, antique settings, and fine stones beat the scale. We check every piece for that first, because scrapping them wastes your money.
Our warehouse is here, so this is the easy one
Laguna Hills sellers have the shortest trip in Southern California: the warehouse sits on Moulton Parkway, minutes from every neighborhood in the city, and same-day appointments are normal. If a house call suits better, from Nellie Gail Ranch to the condos off Paseo de Valencia, we come to you with the same scale and the same math. Call or text photos to (949) 449-1255 and we will answer the same day.

A Recent Find
A 1940s Levi’s Type 1 jacket, sold to us by a former dealer who knew exactly what he had. We paid $12,000 in cash, the same day.

Common questions
What percentage of the gold price do you actually pay?
It depends on the piece and the total weight, and we state it out loud before weighing anything, which is the part most buyers skip. On jewelry with resale value above melt we pay against the jewelry market instead, which is often the bigger number.
How do you test karat without damaging my jewelry?
Stamps first, then testing appropriate to the piece. Testing marks nothing visible and takes seconds per piece, and you watch all of it happen. Plated pieces get identified honestly rather than quietly dropped in the gold pile at a plated price.
Do you buy dental gold and odd fragments?
Yes. Dental gold, broken findings, single cufflinks, watch cases. It all weighs, it all pays, and none of it embarrasses anyone at our table.
