Sell to Us · Pokemon Cards · San Diego

San Diego, the most collector-minded county on the coast.

San Diego takes its collectibles seriously, this is the county that hosts the biggest pop-culture convention on earth, and its Pokemon collections show it: cards kept in sleeves since 1999, sealed boxes bought and never opened, binders organized by set. Military family life adds its own layer, because things stored carefully through deployments and moves tend to survive in exactly the condition the market pays for.

We buy Pokemon cards across San Diego County, in person, for cash. We are the team behind Old 44 Vintage in San Juan Capistrano, and we run San Diego routes regularly. The evaluation happens at your table, card by card for the valuable pieces, honest bulk pricing for the rest, and the reasoning explained as we go. WOTC-era cards, sealed product, Japanese cards, and graded slabs all have our full attention.

What we buy across San Diego County

Base Set and WOTC-era cards

1st Edition stamps, shadowless printings, holos, and complete sets from 1999 to 2003. The stamps get checked on every card, not a sample.

Carefully kept collections

Sleeved, boxed, and binder-organized collections, the kind San Diego produces, are the ones that grade well and price well. We read condition the way a grader would.

Sealed boxes, packs, and decks

Unopened WOTC-era product is among the most valuable paper in the hobby, and modern sealed has a market too. Leave everything sealed and let us look first.

Graded slabs and other games

PSA, BGS, and CGC cards at graded prices, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and the convention exclusives this county collects.

Regular routes, Oceanside to Chula Vista

We run San Diego routes regularly from our Laguna Hills warehouse: Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista in the north county, La Jolla and the central city, out to El Cajon and Santee, down to Chula Vista. A strong collection justifies its own trip, and a modest one can ride along with anything else in the house, jewelry, denim, or a full estate. Text photos of the collection to (949) 449-1255 and we will tell you the same day what you are holding and when we are next in the county.

A Recent Find

A 1940s Levi’s Type 1 jacket, sold to us by a former dealer who knew exactly what he had. We paid $12,000 in cash, the same day.

Common questions

I bought boxes years ago as an investment and never opened them. What now?

Keep them sealed. Unopened vintage boxes are worth far more than the sum of their likely pulls, and opening one to check is an expensive mistake. We verify sealed product by weight, wrap, and printing details without breaking anything, and we pay accordingly.

We are a military family about to move. Can you work on our timeline?

Yes. PCS season is real in this county and we work around it. One call sets a visit before the packers arrive, we evaluate everything in one sitting, and you carry cash instead of boxes to the next duty station.

Do you buy collections that include sports cards or comics?

We buy the trading card games on their merits, Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh, and we are honest about sports cards and comics: some have real markets, most are modest. We will tell you which is which rather than blending it all into one vague number.

One call. We’ll take itfrom there.
