Sell to Us · Pokemon Cards · Los Angeles

LA collections run deeper than anywhere. So do the prices paid wrong.

Los Angeles holds more Pokemon cards than any city in the country, and more ways to sell them badly. Card shops pay shop prices because they carry rent. Marketplace buyers lowball by the binder. And the collections themselves run deeper here: LA's Japanese communities imported cards years before the English sets existed, which means Japanese Base Set, promos, and exclusives surface in LA closets more than anywhere else we buy.

Free visit · cash offers · no obligation

We buy Pokemon collections across Los Angeles County, in person, for cash. We are the team behind Old 44 Vintage in San Juan Capistrano, and we make LA runs weekly. The sort happens at your table: English and Japanese, WOTC-era and modern, the cards priced individually and the bulk offered as bulk, with the reasoning out loud the whole way.

What LA collections tend to hold

WOTC-era binders and boxes

Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Gym sets, Neo. The 1999 to 2003 cards that carry the market, checked card by card for stamps and printings.

Japanese cards and promos

Japanese Base Set, trophy and promo cards, vending sheets, and imports that arrived through Little Tokyo and Sawtelle years before the English release.

Sealed product

Unopened booster boxes, packs, and theme decks. Vintage sealed is blue-chip; even modern sealed has a real market. Do not open anything first.

Graded cards and mixed collections

PSA, BGS, and CGC slabs at graded prices, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and sports cards riding in the same box.

Weekly runs, from Long Beach to the Valley

We make Los Angeles house calls weekly from our Laguna Hills warehouse: the westside, the Valley, Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, Long Beach and the harbor towns. A single strong binder justifies a stop, and a full childhood room or an estate justifies the whole afternoon. Everything gets evaluated in front of you and paid in cash before we leave. Not sure what you have? Text photos of the binder pages or the box stack to (949) 449-1255 and we will give you a straight same-day answer.

Common questions

Are Japanese Pokemon cards worth more or less than English?

It depends on the card. Japanese exclusives, early promos, and trophy cards can be worth far more than their English counterparts, while common Japanese cards often bring less than English ones. We read both markets, and we price each card against the market it actually sells into.

Why sell to you instead of a card shop?

A shop buys across the counter at shop margins, and most only want the hits. We come to you, buy the collection as a whole, and price the strong cards individually instead of blending everything into one low number. Compare offers freely; we explain ours card by card.

I have sports cards and Magic cards mixed in. Do I need to separate them?

No. Bring the whole accumulation. We buy Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh on their merits, and we will tell you honestly which sports cards have a market and which do not.

Know what it’s worth before you sell.

Our field guides explain how the market actually prices these things. No fishing, no hype: real ranges and the details that move them.

One call. We’ll take itfrom there.
