Common questions
How do I know the weight and price are honest?
Because everything happens in front of you. The scale sits on your table, the day's gold price is on a phone screen you can read, and the percentage we pay is stated out loud before anything is weighed. One thing to watch anywhere you sell: some buyers quote per pennyweight instead of per gram because the number sounds bigger. We quote in grams, the unit your bathroom scale speaks.
Is it safe to sell gold from my home?
It should feel safe, and we build the visit so it does. We are a local business with a shop in San Juan Capistrano you can walk into first, we come when you choose, and anyone you want present is welcome. Nothing leaves your hands until you have cash in yours.
Some of my gold has stones or a maker's name. Does that change anything?
