Should I clean or polish the jewelry before you look at it?
No, and this matters more than people expect. Polishing can soften hallmarks, scratch stones, and strip the original surface collectors pay for, and a dip in the wrong cleaner can damage pearls and opals permanently. Bring us the box exactly as it sits. Honest wear never scares us; wrecked originality is the only thing that lowers prices for no reason.
Is your offer an appraisal?
No, and we are careful about the difference. An appraisal states an insurance replacement value, which nobody actually pays in cash. Our number is a real offer, money on the table the same visit, and we explain how we got to it so you can compare it against anything else.
