When do I actually get paid?

What happens if we disagree about a piece's value?
Nothing bad. Our number comes with its reasoning attached, and you are free to test it against any other buyer, an auction estimate, or simply your own sense of the piece. Some sellers take the offer that day, some call back a month later, and some do not sell at all. All three are fine outcomes.
Is a house call safe? I have never sold jewelry before.
