Sell to Us · Coins & Currency

Sell a coin collection without it being treated as scrap.

Inherited coin collections get robbed politely every day: a buyer glances, weighs the silver, and names a price that ignores everything the collector spent decades assembling. Dates, mint marks, grades, and the difference between a common coin and a key date are exactly where the value lives, and exactly what the scale ignores.

Free visit · cash offers · no obligation

We evaluate collections coin by coin where it matters, openly, at your table. Albums, rolls, proof sets, gold, and old paper currency: you watch the process, hear the reasoning, and get paid before we leave. When a collection deserves a specialist auction instead of our check, we say that plainly too.

What we evaluate

United States coins

Key dates, early type, Morgan and Peace dollars, and the albums of patient decades.

Gold

Pre-1933 US gold, world gold, and bullion, priced transparently against the day’s market.

Paper currency

Large size notes, nationals, gold certificates, and the folded history wallets kept.

Proof and mint sets

The blue boxes and brown boxes of habit, priced honestly for what they truly bring.

World and ancient

Foreign accumulations and ancient pieces, sorted knowledgeably rather than dismissed.

Watch the evaluation happen

Our rule for coins is simple: the family watches. Every album page is turned together, every better coin set aside and explained, every number traceable to something you saw. It is slower than weighing, and that is the point. We buy collections across Southern California, often inside larger estates, and the coin albums regularly turn out to be the quiet star of the household.

A Recent Find

A 1940s Levi’s Type 1 jacket, sold to us by a former dealer who knew exactly what he had. We paid $12,000 in cash, the same day.

Common questions

Should I clean the coins before you come?

Never, please. Cleaning destroys collector value permanently, and the difference can be enormous. Original surfaces, even dark ones, are what the market pays for.

How do you price against a coin shop?

Shops buy across the counter at wholesale, fairly enough for their model. We price estate collections in context, with time spent on the better material, and our offers name the coins that earned them.

Grandpa’s collection has a notebook of what he paid. Helpful?

Very. Collector records help us spot what he knew he had, and they often point to pieces tucked somewhere other than the albums. Bring every scrap of paper.

One call. We’ll take itfrom there.
